What is the return policy?

Do they really darken out in sunlight?
Yes. The lenses contain molecules that react to UV light. They shift from clear to dark in under 10 seconds when exposed to sunlight, and fade back to clear once you step into shade. The transition is milder behind a windshield, as the glass blocks some UV rays.
